In 2024, we made incredible strides—deepening research, expanding conservation, and connecting more people to the wonder of birds. With your continued generosity, we can ensure Indiana remains a sanctuary for birds through their journey.
Your support fueled the Chasing Melody Project, a pioneering effort to track Wood Thrushes on a large scale. Building on this success, Echoes of the Night Sky engaged Hoosier citizen scientists to listen for migratory birds, including our tracked thrushes, as they passed over homes and businesses on their journey southward. These initiatives provide valuable insights into the challenges these birds face, informing targeted conservation. Come spring, we’ll track our tagged Wood Thrushes returning through the Indiana Dunes Longshore Flight Bird Survey!
