Indiana Audubon offers custom and private bird guiding services through the society’s expert members.  Guiding services can be for individuals or groups.  Our members love to showcase the 420+ species that have been found across this great state.  Our most popular guiding destinations include the Indiana Dunes, Mary Gray Bird Sanctuary, Goose Pond Fish and Wildlife Area, or the Indianapolis area (Eagle Creek, Fort Harrison State Park, etc…).

For those planning to visit Indiana or wishing to expand your birding horizons, we would suggest you start first with the Indiana Birding Checklist that you can download and print to see what might be available throughout the year.  Additionally, the eBird Indiana pages will allow you to see what’s been seen recently and allow you to view some of the greatest birding hotspots in the state.  The Indiana Birding Trail is also a great place to get started in finding the perfect birding destination in Indiana.

If you’re ready to join us in the field, complete the bird guiding request form below to tell us a little about what you’re looking for and we can help match you with a birding expert.  **Requests should be made a minimum of two weeks before your guiding dates!**

If you’re seeking bird surveys for the Conservation Stewardship Program, please use our CSP Survey Request Form.
