Quiet Encounters
When walking in nature, I am a seeker of beauty, and I await the special encounters that often occur with other beings. This past fall and early winter, I was grateful to have several experiences that were exceptionally special to me. I have documented the encounters on a two-page layout in my journal. A journal can have many uses and page formats. Do not allow those special experiences to fade from memory. Document them in a journal with writing, sketching, and photographs.
Remember that memorable moments usually happen when you saunter quietly, with limited movement. The goal is to create minimal disturbance in the immediate environment. When you have a special encounter—be grateful.
