Dear Indiana Audubon Members and Supporters:
The Cardinal, our beloved bi-monthly newsletter, has informed and engaged our community for years, delivering Indiana Audubon’s latest news, updates, and stories directly to you. Over time, we’ve expanded our content, outgrowing the 12-page printed newsletter with more stories, research, and conservation updates than ever before. As we continue to evolve, we’re excited to announce that the Cardinal is transitioning to a digital-only format.
Starting this month, you’ll be able to access past issues, new content, and exclusive features on our website at indianaaudubon.org/category/the-cardinal-online. We’ve uploaded content from all six 2024 print issues, and our digital archives will continue to expand with content from previous years’ issues.
Here are just a few of the benefits this shift will bring to both Indiana Audubon and the broader community we serve:
- Reduce our environmental footprint: By going digital, we’ll decrease paper usage, ink consumption, and transportation-related emissions.
- Improve searchability and access: Digital content allows for easy updates and searching, ensuring you receive the most timely and relevant stories, resources, and tips, and can easily access past issues and articles.
- Boost website traffic and engagement: By integrating Cardinal content into our website, weekly emails, and social media, we’ll drive more traffic to our site, encourage more people to engage with our organization, and foster a stronger sense of community.
- Enhance your experience: We’ll be able to share more in-depth stories, member Q&As, and grant reports, highlighting the impact and connections of our community, and complementing our Latest News webpage with more storytelling and features that showcase the people and projects that drive our mission.
We’re grateful for your loyalty to Indiana Audubon and look forward to sharing more content with you. Thank you for your continued support!
