Indiana Audubon welcomes Whitney Yoerger to the Audubon team. Whitney will be joining the Audubon staff as the newest Communications and Outreach Manager. She will continue Indiana Audubon’s mission of connecting people to Indiana’s birds and conservation through programs and online resources.
Whitney is a curious writer and communications professional with a master’s degree in nonprofit administration. Her birding story began in 2014, when she spent a long weekend at the Kiptopeke Hawkwatch in Virginia, watching migrating hawks with borrowed binoculars. She is passionate about mindful birding practices, acoustic ecology, and learning more about animal behavior.
