Indiana Audubon Society's mission is to stimulate interest in birds and their protection; to serve the needs of youth, civic, church, schools and other groups by providing information concerning birds; and to educate the public concerning the necessity for conserving and preserving Indiana's natural heritage, its unique flora and fauna.
Indiana Audubon Society believes strongly in making birding a safe and accessible activity for all people, regardless of race, color, gender, national origin, age, religion, creed, disability, veteran’s status, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.
We believe continuing efforts, discussions and action, no matter how uncomfortable at times, are needed to further ensure that birding and nature enjoyment is safe and accessible for everyone.
