IDBF Birds & Brews: Poster Release Party!

Join fellow bird enthusiasts from around the state as we celebrate the unofficial kickoff to the Indiana Dunes Birding Festival season with our annual fine art release for the 2020 event, and a chance to socialize with one another, as well as win prizes for showing off your birding knowledge!

This year’s event will take place on Saturday, February 29 at 6pm in The Pub banquet room at Gelsosomo’s Pizzeria, located on Indian Boundary Road in Chesterton, IN. This year’s event will offer a pizza and salad buffet.  Gelsosomo’s offers a full range of drinks at a cash bar. After 7pm, we’ll unveil the limited edition 2020 festival fine art print, designed by artist Kristina Knowski and have the first copies available for sale while supplies last.  IDBF steering committee members will also be on hand to answer questions about early registration beginning the next morning.

Registration for this year’s event is $11.50 ($8.00 youth under 18) and includes the trivia, poster unveiling, and full pizza/salad buffet.  There will be no menu service in the event banquet room.  Attendance is limited and and all participants must pre-register for an accurate head count.  Children are welcome in the pub banquet room.  For questions about the event, message us here.
