Feathers and Fermentation: Raptors and Romance

February 16 @ 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm EST

Calling all lovebirds! Treat a loved one (and/or yourself!) to a very special Valentine’s weekend this year. What better way to celebrate the season than by cuddling up close with a hawk or an owl and sipping on hot mulled cider from Ash & Elm Cider Co.?

Join Wesley Homoya– a native Hoosier, avid birder, tour guide, and conservationist – as we explore nature and enjoy quality adult beverages.

Starting with a short tour and tasting at the cidery, you’ll be able to grab to-go options of your favorite ciders for the road trip to Eagle Creek Park – Indy Parks and Recreation for a live birds of prey presentation and a talk on “The Secret Love Life of Birds” by the fabulous staff of the Ornithology Center. Afterwards, we’ll briefly check out the taxidermy displays and bird feeders before getting back on the bus for a visit to a local craft brewery (TBD) to learn about and taste their beer offerings. The tour concludes at Ash & Elm, where you can linger awhile with plenty more cider and food options available.

You do not need to bring binoculars for this event. Of course, dress with layers for the weather and time spent indoors, and consider bringing a water bottle. Bottled waters and ice will be available on the bus. A portion of each ticket sale will support Indiana Audubon Society and the Eagle Creek Park Foundation, Inc..

To register, visit the Indy Brew Bus link today!  Space is limited.
