#21in21: Lincoln State Park Summer Birding Trip

Join Indiana Audubon in the deep south of the state for a morning of birding at Lincoln State Park. Warblers, vireos and thrushes pour thro

The trip will be led by local birding expert, David Ayer. Meet at the Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Plaza parking lot, just past the park entrance at 8:00 AM CT (9:00 AM ET). Terrain will be easy to moderate. Beginners and advanced birders welcome. We’ll be out for 2-3 hours. Participants must pre-register, as trips fill up fast. The trip is free for IAS members and $10 for non-IAS members. Lincoln State Park has entrance fees, but annual passes are available for those that visit frequently.

To comply with CDC recommendations, all IAS field trips until further notice will have the follow restrictions:

  • All IAS trip participants must pre-register in advance for upcoming field trips
  • All IAS 2021 Field Trips are limited to 20 participants
  • All participants should utilize facial covering and/or social distancing during the field trip
  • All participants should plan on traveling separately rather than carpool during multiple location trips

All participants must read and agree to the IAS Field Trip Release to participate in IAS led events and trips. Field trips are free for IAS- Members and $10 for non-members.
