Join us in Indy for a morning of spring migrants with Rhiannon Thunell. By this date, we should be seeing much in the way of warblers, as well as an interesting wave of first arrivals should be appearing. We’ll be focused on seeking out Hermit Thrushes, kinglets, Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, Fox Sparrows, White-throated Sparrows, creepers, and the first wave of warblers. The trip will be led by IAS board director, Rhiannon Thunell on Saturday, April 24, at 8:00 AM ET.
Registered participants will meet at the Eagle Creek Ornithology Center, entrance fees apply. Terrain will be easy to moderate. Beginners and advanced birders welcome. We’ll be out for 2-3 hours. The trip is free for IAS members and $10 for non-IAS members. Eagle Creek has entrance fees, but annual passes are available for those that visit frequently.
