IAS Fall Festival 2017

“Think globally, Act Locally”

October 6-8, 2017

Plan to join us for a wonderful Fall Festival held during the peak of Fall migration at no better place to view the spectacle than Mary Gray Bird Sanctuary. This year the Indiana Audubon Society is bringing you an array of talks, hikes, and a field trip to Brookville Reservoir. Additionally, the weekend will include a scavenger hunt, stellar speakers and hike leaders, and a great dinner, conservation award ceremony, election of a new IAS President, and keynote speaker on Saturday evening with a short, fun pre-dinner nature game suitable for the whole family. The festival theme is “Think Globally, Act Locally.” We will focus on how our actions as humans affect our natural areas, reserves, and the species that inhabit them, but the fact is the overall bird population has declined by 37% (State of the Birds Report, 2016).  Though many of our birds are facing dire situations, there is much we can do to help!

Registration is now live, with early bird rates for those that register soon!
