I have some pictures of two white bluebirds (I think) the we have spotted in Brown County State Park in IN that I would like to see if you can help me ID. If you could contact me I will send the pictures and the exact location of the birds as we have seen them for the past week in the same general location. Submitted By: Jeremy Sobecki

Hello! My name is LaDonna Smith with Jones Seed Company. We are wanting to help you and your members to have the happiest and healthiest birds possible. We have strived for over 35 years to be produce the finest quality in bird feed. Whether your birds are for competition, or just for pleasure, it is important to us that when you see the shine in their eyes, and the obvious healthy vitality in their movements, you know that part of that happy bird's condition is due to the years of careful study we have put into the bird blends we provide you for their food. We are wanting to see if we can become a partner in the health of your's and your member's birds. We are interested in sharing our knowledge that we have gained over the last 35 years and offer a source for quality bird feed. We are wanting to see if we might be able to have a link to our website placed on your website and /or our information placed in your newsletter to your members.

I've tried to donate to the Mary Gray fund, but each time I enter my credit card info, this message pops up: "You cannot use an e-mail address or card number that belongs to an existing PayPal account. If you have a PayPal account, please log in. If you don't, please change the e-mail address or card number and try again." I want to pay by credit card, not by PayPal. Help! Submitted By: Bill Murphy

Hi, just a few suggestions: A donate button on the front page would be easier to find than where it is under "About IAS." The fund to choose for donations is "below", not "above" in the instructions. The choice for sanctuary operations reads (new brid) rather than (new bridge) when viewed from Google Chrome. Bill Submitted By: Bill Cummings

For those who may plan a trip to Oregon some day: The East Cascades Audubon Society is excited to announce the completion of their state-wide birding site guide. This guide directs birders to over 1000 birding locations throughout the state. Each location contains the following information: DeLorme Map information, geographic coordinates for those of you who use GPS technology, a Google Map which allows the viewer to zoom in and out for maximum ease of viewing, a Google Earth link that will give you a satellite view of the site (you can zoom in and out with this tool as well), detailed written instructions on how to get to each site, and a description of what kind of birding you might experience once you locate the site. In addition, many sites have added links to resources like bird lists, site brochures, or alternative activities which are site specific. All sites are grouped by county. A state map is provided and access to each county is achieved by clicking on the map

Hello! Our song bird population in Carmel is being depleted by both red tail hawks and coopers hawks that are now living in our neighborhood. Is there any way to discourage the hawks so that bird feeders do not become a death sentence to the song birds? Thanks, John MacBain Submitted By: John MacBain
