Overnight Accomodations

All of the rooms at the Abe Martin Lodge have been booked. There are additional options available in nearby Nashville, Indiana. A comprehensive list of nearby lodging is available here. In addition to these options, The Seasons Lodge has availability as does the Brown County Inn. Both of these hotels are located within 5 minutes of the Brown County State Park.

For those wanting to camp, reservations can be made for the campground at Brown County State Park.  Visit DNR Camping Reservations or call 1-866-6CAMP-IN.

Driving Directions

Brown County State Park is located in Nashville, Indiana. There are two entrances to the park but the north entrance is much closer to the Abe Martin Lodge.

Driving directions to the North Entrance:

From Indianapolis: Take I-65 South to Columbus, Exit 68. Turn right onto SR46 West towards Nashville for approximately 13 miles. The Brown County State Park entrance is on the left,  two miles before Nashville.

From Bloomington: Take SR 46 east through Nashville. The Brown County State Park entrance is on the right, two miles after Nashville. (Note: Do not turn into the first entrance to Brown County State Park that you come to before Nashville.)
